& Associates.

In 2001, Don Sebastiani and his two sons, Don, Jr., and August, established Sebastiani and Sons International Wine Négociants in an effort to move away from their history as a producer of generics and jug wines and move toward the production of high quality, moderately priced wines.
In February 2006, the nation’s largest wine conference - the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium – was held in Sacramento. There, Gomberg, Fredrickson & Associates, a leading wine industry consulting firm, selected Don Sebastiani & Sons as their “Winery of the Year” for 2005.
Jon Fredrickson, a partner in Gomberg, Fredrickson & Associates, pointed to robust sales growth and creative branding as the points meriting the firm’s selection of Don Sebastiani & Sons.
This is the second time Sebastiani has earned the “Winery of the Year” designation. In December, Wine Enthusiast Magazine presented Don Sebastiani & Sons with its 2005 Wine Star Award as “American Winery of the Year.”
